The Potter’s Field documentary sales benefit the homeless

The Potter’s Field is a 2013 documentary that asks viewers to consider what happens to the homeless when they die. The film tells the story of high school students in Louisville who volunteer to attend funeral services for the homeless, and looks at how other cities treat homeless people after they’ve died. It was masterfully directed by local filmmaker Edward Heavrin and produced by Edward Heavrin, Gill Holland, and Nick Weis.

After being released at some local theaters and in film festivals, we have great news: you can now purchase the film at your local Heine Brothers’ or Vint Coffee shop! The proceeds will benefit the Coalition for the Homeless and St. John Center for Homeless Men. Thanks so much to Edward for his thoughtful consideration of our homeless clients here in Louisville.
