Housing Manager
The Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a full-time, salaried employee to lead housing management activities for homeless persons accessing supportive housing.  Duties include conducting calculating and collecting rents, tenant counseling, managing leases, working with and recruiting landlords and managing paperwork for leases and lease payments.  Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or experience working with homeless persons.  Basic computer skills are also important to fulfill the job.  Some supervision may be included with the position. Single Point of Entry Manager
The Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a full-time salaried employee to manage the Single Point of Entry call center. Duties include answering phones and meeting with walk-ins seeking shelter in the Louisville emergency shelter system.  Must be able to work with people in crisis situations and weekend hours are required. Housing Navigator
The Coalition for the Homeless is seeking an energetic individual for an AmeriCorps position based in Louisville to start in January. This position will be responsible for assisting clients through the housing search process and strengthening relationships with landlords. Must be willing to work with all types of people and have a working vehicle to transport clients during the housing search. Position is paid an AmeriCorps stipend and $2,908 education award toward a college education. Interested applicants should submit their resume to: nharris@louhomeless.org.
