Data from all homeless services provided in Louisville, Kentucky are tracked through a state-wide Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) called Kentucky HMIS. Kentucky HMIS is managed by the Kentucky Housing Corporation in Frankfort, KY. The Coalition for the Homeless is responsible for KY HMIS administration in Louisville. HMIS Support
HMIS help requests can be directed to hmis@louhomeless.org. You will receive updates on your request by email. If you need immediate assistance, call the Coalition for the Homeless at 502-636-9550 ext. 206 or call the Kentucky Housing Corporation HMIS help desk at 502-564-7630 ex. 446.

Requests for training can be directed to hmis@louhomeless.org. When requesting training, please provide the the name of the trainees, your agency name and the HMIS project(s) trainees need access to. Completion of the training is required before receiving your HMIS license. Once requests for training have been processed your agency staff will be issued an HMIS license to our training database. Training videos will be utilized to demonstrate our processes. Upon completion of the videos trainees will complete an assignment. Once the assignment has been evaluated a license to the live site will be issued.

HMIS Reports
The Coalition for the Homeless uses HMIS to produce a variety of reports on the homelessness in Louisville. Go to the Publications page to view the latest AHAR, PIT, Homeless Census, or APR reports.
HMIS Data quality reports have to be submitted to the Coalition for the Homeless one week after the Point in Time dates. The Coalition will send out email specifying the type of DQ report to submit and the report start/end dates.
