Point-in-Time Count (Volunteer Opportunity)

The Coalition for the Homeless no longer utilize volunteers for our annual point-in-time (PIT) count in January (formerly known as the “Street Count”). Louisville’s annual count is now conducted by agency outreach workers over the course of a week.

However, Kentucky Housing Corporation conducts the PIT count for all of the counties surrounding Louisville, and they need volunteer assistance. If you’re interested in learning more and helping, email Kenzie Strubank at KStrubank@kyhousing.org. Additionally, the Southern Indiana Homeless Coalition coordinates the PIT count for eight counties (Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott, Orange, Jefferson, Washington, and Crawford), and they are also looking for volunteers. If interested, please contact Leslea Townsend Cronin at ltownsend.cronin@soinhomeless.org for more information.
