What Is Give-A-Jam?
Give-A-Jam brings together dozens of talented local musicians for a fun community event where every Louisvillian can do something to end homelessness—all while enjoying music, soup, and great company.
What Makes Give-A-Jam Unique?
Because everything is donated, 100% of the proceeds go to supporting the Coalition’s collaborative Rx: Housing initiatives, specifically our most recent initiative to end homelessness among young adults by 2020. Our prior Rx: Housing initiatives have been remarkably successful: chronic homelessness is down by 50%, and nearly every single identified homeless veteran was provided with resources and housing in 2015, with our partners keeping up the efforts to house the 25-30 veterans who become homeless each month in Louisville.
