The Coalition for the Homeless is hiring a full-time development director to lead the coordination and leadership of annual fundraising goals of the Coalition for the Homeless.
Duties include: creating fundraising goals, maintaining relationships with existing donors, building relationships with prospective donors, soliciting gifts, overseeing management of the donor database, thanking donors, seeking out grant opportunities and applying for grants and coordinating fundraising events.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or multiple years experience in fund development as well as familiarity with fundraising databases, Microsoft Office, and social media. They must have the ability to work with funders to meet their requirements along with an attention to detail. A preference will be given to persons of color who are over-represented in the persons that we serve. Salary is $62,000 to $75,000 based on experience. Please see the full job description here.
