The Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a part-time hourly employee to work 20 hours per week at the Single Point of Entry call center answering phones and meeting with walk-ins seeking shelter in the Louisville emergency shelter system.
The hours are 9am – 2pm Friday through Monday each week. The position starts at $13 per hour and there may also be opportunities for additional hours when staff are sick or on vacation other days of the week. Applicants must have reliable transportation. They should have a bachelor’s degree or experience working with people experiencing homelessness. Familiarity with computer databases is also important to fulfill the job.
