Full Time Employment: Coordinated Access Specialist – The Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a Coordinated Access Specialist, a full-time employee to work 37.5 hours per week.  This position will be in the Coordinated Shelter Access office. Duties include: data entry, answering phones, making appropriate referrals to homeless shelter and services, short term case management and housing navigation and meeting with persons presenting at the Coordinated Shelter Access that may be seeking shelter in the Louisville emergency shelter system. Additional hours may be available when staff are sick or on vacation. Position is Monday-Friday with availability between 8:00am – 4:00 pm; potential hybrid position with up to two remote working days. Applicants must have reliable transportation.   Applicants should also have a bachelor’s degree or two years’ experience in customer or social services and familiarity with computer databases such as Microsoft Word and Excel.  Applicants must be able to work with diverse people groups and pay attention to detail.  A preference will be given to persons of color who are over-represented in the persons that we serve.  $37,000 starting salary with competitive benefits.  Please click through to view the full job description and employee benefits.
